Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers Association Drives Manufacturing Growth

On August 20, the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers Association (IMTMA) organized a high-level productivity meeting to discuss and share the latest methods and experiences to increase productivity. The delegates came from different manufacturing industries, including automobiles and auto parts, airspace, defense and railway facilities.

The meeting pointed out that the proportion of India's manufacturing industry’s contribution to its GDP has increased year by year and it is becoming a potential driving force for India’s economic growth. In the current international environment where competition is unprecedentedly fierce, in order to meet the requirements of international quality standards, companies need to have manufacturing solutions that can increase production efficiency. The meeting believes that the most important thing at present is to promote the development of related industries in India and maintain a high growth momentum. Only in this way can we ensure the status of Indian manufacturing in its economic development.
