In Gansu Province this year, a network application subsidy network filing and approval management system was launched to increase policy publicity, and all localities accelerated the implementation of subsidies and strictly standardized operations. This year, the country and Gansu Province have arranged a total of 270 million yuan in subsidies for agricultural machinery purchases. The scope of implementation covers 86 farming and animal husbandry counties and 10 farming farms in the province. As of the end of August, the province has cumulatively provided subsidies for 93,600 sets of agricultural machinery and 72,800 households. According to preliminary statistics, it is estimated that the total power of agricultural machinery in the province will reach 18.5 million kilowatts, and the tractor population will be 507,000 units, an increase of nearly 8% and 3% respectively year-on-year. In particular, large and medium-sized tractors maintained a rapid development trend. This year, 5,360 new units were added, an increase of 9.21%.

For the abnormal weather such as severe drought, persistent low temperature and severe summer rainfall this spring, the agricultural machinery departments across Gansu quickly responded and carefully organized agricultural mechanization operations, and the agricultural mechanization water steadily increased. By the end of August, the province's machine-cultivation, machine-seeding, and aircraft-receiving areas reached 18 million mu, 12 million mu, and 5.4 million mu, respectively, which were up 5%, 4%, and 5% year-on-year respectively.

At the same time, Gansu vigorously promoted 17 new technologies for agricultural mechanization, such as conservation tillage and furrow irrigation mechanization technology, and the promotion area reached 12 million mu. Among them, 22 demonstration projects and 9 provincial project counties implemented conservation tillage technology demonstration and completed a demonstration area of ​​1 million mu. Three cultivating and furrow irrigation mechanization demonstration sites have been established in Liangzhou, Shandan and Yongchang to complete the demonstration area. Million mu; The implementation of mechanically covered double-ridge furrow sowing of maize in 51 counties was completed, and 2,854,500 mu of mechanized covering was completed.
