Early warning: India intends to carry out anti-dumping investigations on Chinese aluminum wheels

The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products was recently informed that the Indian Aluminum Products Association, on behalf of Indian aluminum alloy wheel hub manufacturers, handed over an application to Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry to propose anti-dumping for aluminum wheels imported from China and South Korea from October 2010 to September 2011. Investigations revealed that the products involved were aluminum alloy wheels with a diameter of 12 to 24 inches for automobiles. If the case is formally filed, it will become the third case of trade remedy investigation in China's aluminum wheel industry.

The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products is an organization of China's machinery and electronic products import and export industry. It is responsible for organizing and coordinating the anti-dumping actions of the industry in accordance with the Ministry of Commerce's Regulation on Responding to Anti-Dumping Cases of Exported Products.

The China Chamber of Commerce for Mechanical and Electrical Products Importers and Exporters informed that during the investigation period, companies that exported products involving India to China immediately contacted the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for the Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products to communicate relevant information in order to better respond to the case.
