Recently, the reporter learned from the China Pump Association that China's diaphragm pump technology has reached the international advanced level of similar products.

It is understood that the diaphragm pump is the core equipment for long-distance pipeline transportation and pressure injection feeding and transportation of solid-liquid two-phase medium. The use of oil as the medium to push the rubber diaphragm to make concave and convex motions makes the volume of solid-liquid two-phase medium in the pump body periodically change and complete delivery. It can carry out long-distance, large-flow and high-concentration transportation. The main solid-liquid two-phase media include alumina, aluminum ore pulp, iron tailings, iron concentrate, red mud, coal water slurry, phosphate slurry and blast furnace mud, etc. It is widely used in non-ferrous metals, metallurgy, mining, chemicals, building materials, coal, coal-to-oil, coal chemical, power and environmental protection.

It is predicted that the current domestic demand for diaphragm pump market can reach several billion yuan, and the international market demand is even greater. At present, it is planned to develop into a professional R&D base for diaphragm pumps in three to five years through technological transformation and equipment upgrades.
