World Wind Power Leader Vestas Receives New Order for 49.3MW Wind Turbine

Beijing, December 29 - In the recent days, Vestas, the world wind energy leader, once again signed a new order with Chongli Jianshe Huashi Wind Energy Co., Ltd. with a total installed capacity of 49.3 MW. This order includes V52-850. The V60-850 kilowatt-class wind turbine will be installed at the Sedan Mountain Wind Farm in Chongli County, Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province. This is the second cooperation between Chongli Jianshe Huashi Wind Power Co., Ltd. and Vestas. The first cooperation between the two sides was the first 49.3 MW order in 2008.

Chongli Jianshe Huashi Wind Energy Co., Ltd. is part of Hebei Jiantou New Energy Co., Ltd. and is one of its subsidiary wind power subsidiaries. Hebei Jiantou New Energy Co., Ltd. is a leading company in the new energy industry in Hebei Province. The two cooperations with Vestas enabled the cumulative contracting capacity of the two parties' cooperative projects to approach 100 megawatts.

The contract includes the delivery, installation and commissioning of the wind turbine, the Vestas Online® SCADA monitoring system, and a service maintenance agreement. The fan is expected to be delivered in the third quarter of 2011. In 2010, Vestas China received nearly 1,000 MW of wind turbine orders, and continued the new peak of Vestas's order history in the wind power market in which China's business must compete.
