The RF admittance level gauge is widely used for the continuous measurement of the level of liquids, granules, and bulk materials in various industries. Radio frequency admittance level meter site installation matters:
1, for the site-installed design, but still be installed as far as possible away from vibration and corrosive air and can cause mechanical damage to the occasion. For ease of debugging, the instrument should be installed in an operating platform or similar platform. The ambient temperature should be between -40 to 75°C (140 to 75°F). The instrument installation area requires wall lightning devices to prevent lightning strikes.
2. When installing the instrument, it is necessary to ensure that the central probe and shielding layer of the sensor do not contact with the container wall (or the mounting tube), the insulation is good, the mounting thread is firmly connected with the container, the electrical contact is good, and the ground of the sensor is to enter the container internal. For large-range or stirred applications, the sensor needs to be supported or anchored, but the fixed end must be insulated from the sensor.
3, according to the explosion-proof installation of the instrument, each connected with the explosion-proof enclosure must be equipped with a sealed gland or explosion-proof steel pipe joints have been certified. For instruments installed in accordance with this requirement, each circuit must be equipped with an approved safety barrier. For certified sealed stuffing boxes or explosion-proof steel pipe glands and barrier products, consult our company or our agents.
4, 24VDC power ripple should not be greater than 200mV. The power ground wire must be connected to the standard or standard meter ground and it is impossible to connect it to the power ground. It is recommended to use shielded cables for field power cables. Do not use long-range unshielded and AC power cables in parallel. The cable passing area requires a lightning protection device to prevent lightning strikes.
5, according to the explosion-proof installation of the instrument, in the explosion-proof field before opening the instrument explosion-proof housing, be sure to confirm that the meter has been powered off and has been off for more than 10 minutes.
