More compact: Rexroth's new hydraulic motor is 26% shorter

With more powerful power and smaller installation space, Bosch Rexroth's new A2FM 70 series inclined-shaft hydraulic motors meet the increasingly demanding requirements of construction machinery manufacturers for motors, especially for concrete mixer applications. This motor guarantees superior power density while reducing the length by 26%. In addition, Bosch Rexroth has added two additional pressure levels to enable the new series of motors to adapt to the 350 bar normal conditions. It can handle heavy duty conditions and achieve up to 500bar pressure.

Compared to the 61 series, Rexroth tilting-axis motor The new 70 series has three pressure levels designed to provide superior power density

The new Rexroth axial piston motor is designed with a 40° inclined shaft. The size of the Rexroth axial piston motor is greatly reduced through the optimization of the rotary unit design and the use of integral flushing and relief valves. Depending on the selected size, the length of this series of motors can be reduced by up to 26%. Thanks to the reduction in length, this motor achieves a weight loss of up to 38%. For example, a motor with a pressure range of 300/350 bar and a displacement of 107 cm3 can be reduced from about 32 kg to about 20 kg.

Bosch Rexroth has added two additional pressure levels to the new A2FM 70 series motors, successfully extending its pressure level perfectly matched to medium pressure pumps to a wider range of applications. In addition to the maximum pressure of 450 bar provided by the previous series, the new motors are also suitable for operating conditions with a maximum pressure of 350 bar and 500 bar.

Thanks to three different pressure levels, the A2FM 70 Series can be applied to both cost-sensitive machinery with lower pressure requirements and heavy machinery with the highest pressure requirements. At the same time, the 80, 90, and 107 cm3 three-displacement models are capable of multiple tasks for walking machines. Like the popular A2FM 61 series, the new quantitative motor has high starting efficiency and supports up to 5,000 rpm, which can be used for both open and closed circuits.

A2FM's new range of quantitative motors can be used to drive the drums of concrete mixer trucks, winches for truck cranes, vibration transmissions for road rollers, as well as drilling equipment and rolling mills. Bosch Rexroth also matched the new motor with an axial piston pump to provide customers with a more compact, easy-to-install hydrostatic travel drive, especially for snow sweepers and combine harvesters.
