The reporter learned today from the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology that Chongqing Machine Tool (Group) took the lead, and jointly with Chongqing University and Wuhan Huazhong Automatic Control Technology Development Co., Ltd. to apply for the “12th Five-Year Plan” national science and technology support plan key project “machine tool remanufacturing complete sets of technology and industrialization” Has been officially approved.

The project will invest 16.68 million yuan, and China will allocate 6.18 million yuan to break through the evaluation and design of machine tool remanufacturing, the detection and assessment of the remaining life of spare parts, the remanufacturing process of key parts, the numerical control of the whole machine, and the comprehensive application of information technology. With key technologies such as system energy saving and quality control, the remanufacturing of machine tools has maintained the leading position in the country and an industrialized production base for machine tools remanufacturing has been established.

The relevant person in charge of the high-tech office of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission stated that Chongqing is an important manufacturing base in China. Remanufacturing and upgrading of existing large-scale machine tool equipment will form a new industry with huge production value, and will create a circular economy for the city. The highlights of the project are to expand the city’s influence on green remanufacturing across the country, which is of great significance for demonstration.

It is reported that the remanufacturing industry is an important content of the energy conservation and environmental protection industry among the country’s seven strategic emerging industries. At present, China has more than 8 million machine tools, and more than 60% of machine tools have a service life of more than 10 years. There are a large number of old machine tools that are facing functional or technical elimination. It is expected that there will be more than 1 million units during the 12th Five-Year Plan period. Precision machine tools and general machine tools require remanufacturing and upgrading.
