LEDinside view European prices continue to fall, local and Korean manufacturers intensify competition LEDinside observed that the price reduction of OSRAM and Samsung bulb products in Europe in April is more obvious. After Samsung's 7.5W LED bulb fell below 10 euros, OSRAM also sharply Reducing the price of the product, its 8W LED bulb, luminous flux of 470LM, used to replace the traditional 40W incandescent lamp, the product in Germany in April sold for only 9.95 euros.
LEDinside believes that Osram's price cuts show its intention and determination to seize the European lighting terminal consumer market. At the same time, Korean manufacturers represented by Samsung have continued to use the consistent price war strategy, frequently reducing prices and actively occupying the European market. At present, it seems that the competition in the European market is accelerating, and the average price of products continues to fall. It can be observed that the implementation of the comprehensive ban and the economic recovery after the European debt crisis have gradually affected the LED bulb market, and the LED bulbs are gradually fermenting. The market penetration rate is expected to accelerate.
