These valve products occupy a considerable proportion in China's high-end products, showing that China's dependence on imported valve products is very strong.

According to analysts at the CNPV Coalition for Economics and Production, there are four main reasons that hinder the smooth development of China's high-end pump valves:


First, the investment in innovative R&D capital is obviously insufficient. According to the incomplete statistics of the pump industry, investment in R&D capital accounted for less than 2% of the company's main operating revenue, and the investment in R&D for the valve industry was similar. Without funding as a backing and guarantee, how about innovation and R&D?

Second, the capacity for independent innovation is weak. Most of the domestic pump and valve companies are mainly SMEs. They have no ability to carry out independent innovation and R&D. The company's focus is also on low-end, low-margin products, and a serious lack of independent innovation awareness and capabilities.

Third, customers have low recognition of domestic high-end pump and valve products. Due to many problems in marketing concepts and narrow sales channels of domestic pump companies, many customers hold an unappreciated attitude towards domestic high-end pump valves, which directly leads to poor customer willingness to purchase domestic products.

Fourth, the lack of industry common technology research. As a result of restructuring, some research institutes facing industry services have become companies that are fighting for each other. The nature of the structure and the focus of their work have changed greatly, and their technical support has also weakened.

At this stage, our country's pump and valve companies want to make breakthroughs in independent innovation, we must be targeted, stable and steady, and gradually gain market position.
