Yang Fenglei: Just now several leaders made opening remarks. I mentioned to Chairman Wang Xia about the theme of this year's forum and returned to the theme of 2010, shaping the future of the industry in the era of change. This is closely related to the development of the industry, including the market situation. . Everyone knows that China's blowout volume has reached a peak of 18 million units since 2010 and it has become the world’s largest car market for production and sales. In 2011, the rate of growth has fallen significantly, including a decline in growth rates this year, returning to a steady growth trend. In this era of change, the changes that have taken place in 2010 have brought about changes that are now falling. At this time, companies and industries are thinking about how to deal with changes in the future. This is very important, and I quite agree with this point.

Netease Automobile: How do you see the future development trend, whether we will maintain this growth rate decline for a long period of time, or even a single-digit growth state, or whether we may not far away in the future after this round of silence period Will there be a new blowout?

Yang Fenglei: In fact, from the perspective of the entire industry, it is related to the country’s economic macro-control and even the entire global economic situation. In particular, commercial vehicles are the ones that have a large macroeconomic impact on the market. Production materials are used in the national economy. The role is very prominent. If it is a macroeconomic adjustment, the overall economic slowdown will affect the purchase of commercial vehicles. In particular, the state regulates and controls the growth of the structure, and in this process, the demand is reduced a lot. Especially trucks, heavy trucks. So, last year and now, the entire commercial vehicle has experienced very severe declines. In the future, commercial vehicles will still be affected by the policies. If the policies are good, for example, if the state increases investment, this market will soon rise and there may even be blowouts.

However, in the passenger vehicle market, I feel that with the impact of the environment, including whether the entire market is saturated, including the impact of the entire economy, there will not be large blowouts, but there will still be moderate growth.



Netease Auto: During this year's declining growth of the entire market, some corporate guests may have discussed that we have ushered in a very harsh moment, especially for our own brands, which have been squeezed to a greater extent, including luxury brands. In price diving, big price war, how do you see the development of the automotive market this year.

Yang Fenglei: The development of the market this year is first and foremost a policy reason. On the one hand, the restrictions on the purchase of some cities, and on the other hand, the cyclical continuation of some previous policies, and the cancellation of many preferential policies has brought changes to the industry, including the suppression of demand. influential. Although there are some places that have been loosened, signs of easing have not yet been seen. This year has also been a year in which many companies have made adjustments. Especially for the self-owned brands, the decline in share, including BYD, Chery and other independent brand companies, is making some adjustments. On the one hand, it is the shaping of the brand. In addition, the marketing channels have made in-depth adjustments. The development is very favorable. I think this is temporary.

Netease Automobile: Do you think this is a temporary adjustment period?

Yang Fenglei: But for independent brands, it is undeniable that the situation is very serious.

Netease Auto: How severe is it, and is everyone ready for the winter?

Yang Fenglei: I quote from an expert's point of view. A few days ago Secretary-General Dong Yang of the Automobile Association mentioned that there may be some signs that self-owned brands will withdraw or shuffle in the next few years. I think this is possible.

Netease Auto: During the process of mergers and reorganizations, the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” has always been the state-led merger and reorganization. Under the state of development this year, will there be a new round of changes, from state-led to enterprise-led.

Yang Fenglei: The market economy should have the final say by the market. Some markets in China are still heavily influenced by the macro economy. Just now we mentioned that the commercial vehicle market is very sensitive to economic regulation. In this piece of policy, there is also subsidies for taxation. This will also have an impact on the passenger car market, so this is a dual role. The other is the role of the global economic environment.

Netease Automobile: How does the global economic environment affect China's self-owned brand cars in the future?

Yang Fenglei: In the past two years, this phenomenon has become obvious. In particular, China’s own brands have increased the acquisition density of parts and components abroad. For example, some foreign parts companies that Geely acquired, as well as Weichai and Sany Heavy Industry. Both are making frequent acquisitions overseas. In fact, this forum also has a topic. The topic of supporting suppliers is to discuss the feasibility of China's supporting and component companies going out to make acquisitions. In fact, I also think that China's spare parts companies are making frequent overseas acquisitions. What can really be digested and used to become my own core technology? In fact, this can be explored.

We have seen that Chinese cars have begun to move toward globalization, including the current market environment is also undergoing some changes, a very complex market environment, our China's automotive media, in the future how do you view the development of China's automotive media, Will there be more overseas exchanges in the process of globalization?
