Future Transporter

At this year's International Commercial Vehicles Show in Hannover, Germany, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles displayed the concept car named TRISTAR. This sturdy pickup truck features a long cab, innovative bumper and short wheelbase, and a Volkswagen 4MOTION® full-time four-wheel drive system with a mechanical rear differential lock. Compared with the existing T series models, its ground clearance has also been increased by 30mm. The designers used the simple and novel design language that Volkswagen used to use: the sharp appearance, the lines surrounding the body, the LED headlights, and the re-engraved three-dimensional front face. All this gives the TRISTAR concept car a large and determined image. The integrated dashboard is a tribute to the appearance and simplicity of the early Volkswagen Transporter models. The load zone is divided into two layers. Underneath the plate of the TRISTAR concept car is a large capacity dust- and water-resistant drawer, to which a spare wheel can be fixed. Both the driver's seat and the driver's seat in the car can be turned and slid, and a 20-inch tablet computer table and advanced video conferencing and sound system are all available, which makes TRISTAR a perfect meeting place. What is more worth mentioning is that it also installed a coffee machine.
