Automatic optical inspection systems (AOI) has become an indispensable requirement for IC manufacturing, and is increasingly being used to replace traditional MVI and ICT technologies for inspections to monitor and ensure the quality of production processes. At present, China's automatic optical inspection system (AOI) equipment mainly relies on imports and has been monopolized by countries such as Israel, the United States, and Japan. The 45th Institute of China Electronics Technology Group has conducted fruitful international scientific and technological cooperation with Canada to jointly develop automatic optical inspection (AOI) equipment. Through the introduction, digestion, absorption and reinvention, it has finally developed an automatic optical inspection (AOI) with international standards. ) The equipment broke the foreign monopoly and technical blockade and reduced the price of imported products by 30%.

The 45th Institute of China Electronics Technology Group adopted technology acquisition and digestion and absorption, and captured three key technologies, such as high-speed image acquisition and hardware processing technology, defect identification and processing technology, and subtle graphical image acquisition technology, and was successfully applied to the development of AOI equipment. At present, it has obtained 4 patents, applied for and accepted 6 invention patents, published 6 academic papers, and won 1 provincial and ministerial level science and technology second prize. The completion of the project indicates that China has the strength to compete with foreign mainstream equipment in the field of automatic optical inspection equipment, and has improved the manufacturing level of China's electronic special inspection equipment.
