Small-pitch LEDs show explosive growth
The birth of the small-pitch LED display marks the official entry of LED display technology into various indoor applications. BOC International believes that the small-pitch LED display technology will quickly enter indoor applications in the next few years due to its advantages such as no seams, excellent display effects, continuous semiconductor technology advancement and cost reduction. The small-pitch LED display is expected to replace the original indoor large-screen display technology in stages or in whole or in part to fill the technical gap. The potential market space is more than 100 billion yuan, and will explode in the next few years. BOCI International expects that in the next five years (2014-2018), the market-scale compound growth rate of small-pitch LED display products will reach 110. In the first stage, it will enter the professional indoor large-screen display market. In the professional indoor large-screen display application fields such as command, control, monitoring, video conferencing, and studio, the small-pitch LED display is expected to replace the mainstream technologies such as DLP rear projection splicing technology, liquid crystal/plasma splicing technology, projection and projection fusion technology.
