Installation Precautions 1, indoor fire hydrant should be located in a clear and easy access. The height of the bolt from the ground is 1.1m, and the direction of the water outlet should be downward or 90° from the wall of the fire hydrant. 2. The indoor fire hydrant of the cold storage should be set in the room temperature or in the stairwell; 3. The spacing of indoor fire hydrants should be determined by calculation. The spacing of high-rise industrial buildings, elevated warehouses, Class A and B plants, and indoor fire hydrants should not exceed 30m; the spacing of fire hydrants in other single-storey and multi-storey buildings should not exceed 50m. In the same building, fire hydrants, water guns, and hoses of a uniform size should be used. The length of each hose should not exceed 25m; 4. If the building is equipped with an indoor fire hydrant, if it is a flat roof, a fire hydrant for testing and inspection should be installed on the flat roof; 5. Other buildings where high-rise industrial buildings and water tanks cannot meet the water pressure requirements of fire hydrant at the most unfavorable point shall be provided with fire-fighting pumps directly at each indoor fire hydrant, and shall have protection facilities. Fire Hydrant Inspection Rules When one of the following situations occurs in an indoor fire hydrant, a type test shall be carried out: a) When the new product is test-typed; b) After the official production, if there is a major change in the processing methods of the product structure, materials, processes, and key processes; c) When a major quality accident occurs; d) When the product is discontinued for more than one year and the production is resumed; e) When the quality supervision agency makes a request; f) At normal production for 3 years.
