Mental health app is under development

Just as physical health and mental health are very important, smart phone applications now can help you take care of your diet, sleep and fitness, so now you want to help your mind stay healthy.
Andrew Campbell, a computer science professor led by Dartmouth College, taps into some of the features of smartphones to understand how you feel about the moment. The app was loaded on 48 students' Android phones and used them for a period of 10 weeks to complete the survey to determine the physical and mental health baseline. The app uses the sensors of the mobile phone to perform data monitoring activities such as accelerometers to learn when and how to exercise the students, GPS to find out how long the students there are; when to talk on the phone; and other Peripheral data, such as how long the student slept.
Students also completed small surveys that measure emotional and stress levels daily and supervise diet. The application learning algorithm used to adapt to each user's behavior pattern to better detect anomalies. Overall, the results show that generally multiple sleep and multiple sessions reduce the likelihood of depression.
