Master Huang immediately realized that something was wrong, and immediately let the workers report to the police.

After receiving the alarm, civilian police, firefighting, and 120 medical personnel rushed to the scene.

As the man was sitting on the high-tension line, he immediately contacted the Xiaoshan Power Supply Bureau for safety rescue. After the staff of the Power Supply Bureau arrived at the scene, they cut the wires in the middle of the adjacent power poles to ensure that everything was safe. Afterwards, firefighters and rescue workers climbed on poles and put people down from the poles.

The man was already stiff and the medical staff initially judged that the man was electrocuted. According to the ladder on the edge of the telephone pole and the vise left on the scene, while the clothes of the left elbow of the man were burned and the elbow was bent, the rescuer judged that the man had climbed the high voltage line himself, probably the elbow touched the cable first. For the purpose of the man climbing up the high voltage line, the surrounding residents guess that it may be stealing electricity.

According to the staff of the Xiaoshan Power Supply Bureau, the high voltage line that the man climbed, with a voltage of 10,000 volts, is the main transmission line for residents of Liuqiao Village. After identification, the man who was killed by the electric shock was not a worker of the power supply bureau, and he also ruled out the possibility of electrician repairing the line.

Nearby residents recalled that in the early morning, they had heard loud noises. "Approximately four o'clock in the morning, many of us heard a loud noise, which was the kind of electric shock. It was estimated that an accident occurred at that time," recalled Mr. Zhong, a villager.
