The design of the gating system is closely related to the filling speed, and the speed of the filling speed influences the occurrence of sand filling, splashing, oxidation, etc., determines the good and bad slag blocking effect, and determines whether there is sand in the casting. Because of defects such as porosity and cold septa, a properly designed gating system has become the key to reducing casting waste and improving the quality of castings.
