Tim is from USA Wisconsin, and has a monthly salary of great retirement. He suffered from severe arthritis for many years and suffered from pain from the back of his neck to his feet every day. Eight years ago, he was exposed to Chinese Tai Chi. He was gratified that after 3 months, his physical condition improved and he gradually stopped taking painkillers. Since then, he has been obsessed with Chinese traditional culture and has been indissoluble with ancient China, separated by mountains of water.

Tim said that in 2004, he came to China for the first time. Although he stayed for a short time, he thought that China was a very suitable place to live and his home.

After his wife died, Tim was alone. When it comes to deciding to support the elderly in China, Tim laughed and said, "Although I didn't learn Chinese at the time, I couldn't even speak a simple Chinese sentence. But because of my fascination with China, I decided to sell the assets of the USA. China settles in for the elderly.”

With the support of his three sons, Tim handled all matters and embarked on Chinese land in August 2011. He began his dream of an oriental cultural tour. At present, he has applied for a long-term residency in China for 5 years.

In traditional Chinese culture, Tim is particularly obsessed with Chinese medicine. He now lives in the Hebei Province Medical Qigong Hospital in Qinhuangdao. In this way, he can learn Taiji, Qigong, massage, acupuncture and other medicines every day.

“Although my current level of Chinese language is not enough, I need to communicate with the body and language in daily communication. However, I’m studying hard. My Chinese friends also taught me carefully and I believe that I will speak fluent Chinese. ”

Talking about future life, Tim said that Hebei Medical Qigong Hospital ceased operation every winter. At that time, he would work in the Daqing Mountain Tourism Scenic Area in Rizhao City, Shandong Province. He would contact a foreign tourist team and do his part as a translator. It will also teach foreign tourists traditional Chinese medicine health knowledge. In the coming spring, when Hebei Medical Qigong Hospital started operating, he returned to Qinhuangdao.

Traditional Chinese culture has greatly benefited Tim. “I have always recommended Chinese traditional culture to my children and friends in the USA. They are advised to come to China to study and live.” Tim said while he made a standard Tai Chi movement. (Finish)
