European new car sales fell sharply in July

According to the German "Business Daily" recently reported that in July the EU's 27 countries, and Switzerland, Norway, Iceland's new car sales fell by 18.1% year-on-year, the depth of the debt crisis in Greece's new car sales even dropped as high as 60%.

As the subsidies for car purchases in various countries have ended successively, sales in countries such as Britain, France, Italy, and the West are all much lower than the same period of last year. German sales have decreased by nearly one third compared with the same period of last year.

On the contrary, the auto market in the United States and emerging countries still maintains a growth pattern. Russia has benefited from the recent purchase subsidy measures that began in the past. New car sales nearly doubled in July, but it has not yet returned to its pre-crisis level. China's new car sales continue to grow by 17%, but the growth rate has slowed down. Sales in the United States, India, and Brazil increased by 5%, 37%, and 4% in the same period last year.
