Low recognition of consumers Since the remanufacturing of parts and components started 4 years ago, most auto consumers are still unfamiliar with the remanufacturing of auto parts. The number of respondents who said “unknown” accounted for 55.3% of the total. Half or even "completely do not understand." However, there are also a small number of consumers who “recognize” the remanufacturing of auto parts. One-tenths of the respondents said they are “very understanding”. Car owners have higher awareness of parts remanufacturing than car-free people.

The survey results showed that although more than half of the respondents did not understand the remanufacturing of auto parts, the purchase intention was not low. 68.3% of the respondents said they would still consider buying. At the same time, there are also 17.6% of respondents clearly stated that "all components do not consider buying", 14.1% said "uncertain."

The reason for the low price is that in the survey of the respondents who were mainly interested in remanufacturing auto parts, “low price” became the main reason for them to consider buying. Secondly, "performance, quality, safety, etc. are in line with the requirements of the relevant standards of the original product" and "environmental protection and energy conservation" have also attracted some consumers.

In general, the price of remanufacturing auto parts is about half of the new price, because the price is cheap, which is very attractive to many owners, especially the owners of low-end brand cars.

In the survey of respondents whose quality was a decisive factor and had no intention of buying remanufactured auto parts, "worry about the unreliability of product quality" became the main reason why they did not consider buying.

Although providing safe and reliable quality products is a corporate social responsibility, but now the automotive maintenance market is not standardized, the quality of new parts is still uneven, often times fake and shoddy products among them, not to mention re-manufactured parts, Most consumers are unable to identify the authenticity, so consumers are more concerned about the reliability of remanufactured parts.

The survey shows that nearly 70% of the respondents said that they are “optimistic” in the industry, and most of them think that although “there is not much progress in the short term, they are still optimistic about the long term”. At the same time, 14.6% of the respondents said they were "not optimistic."

Some experts pointed out that as China's auto parts remanufacturing industry is still in its infancy, there are many restrictive factors. The respondent thinks that “the industry is in a disorderly order, serious private dissolution is a serious problem”, “the overall level of technology is not high,” and “cars Many problems such as scrapping problems have hindered the healthy development of the industry.

Therefore, it is hoped that the relevant government departments should adopt various measures to strengthen supervision, strictly control the quality inspection of remanufactured auto parts, use policies to guide consumption concepts, and increase propaganda so that more consumers can understand and use them.
