The upper bearing of the slurry pump bearing is a cylindrical roller bearing, and the lower bearing group includes a pair of single row centripetal thrust, a ball bearing, and a single row cylindrical roller bearing.

The normal service life of the slurry pump bearing should not be less than 100,000 hours. The bearings designed must be able to withstand all axial and radial loads. When the bearing assembly is assembled and assembled, the bearing is warmed up and the oil temperature is not allowed to exceed 120°C. For bearing clearances, it is generally between 0.2-0.5mm .

Bearing assembly considerations  

1      Check the bearing inner diameter, outer diameter, width, the parallelism of both ends of the raceway, and the roughness of the surface, and whether there are defects such as rust, spots, etc., and whether the rotation is flexible;  

2      For angular contact bearings and double-row self-aligning bearings, check the bearing clearance, find the center of the ball raceway, and determine whether or not to padded the thickness according to the inner ring's relative outer ring's height. The pad thickness ensures the standard travel of the bearing.   The gap is determined.  

3      When assembling removable bearings, they must be installed according to the alignment marks on the inner and outer rings, and they must not be installed in disorder; for the bearings with adjustable head assembly, the numbered end should be outward for identification in assembly.

Bearing assembly attention is easy to produce the following problems:

1. When assembling the bearing of the slurry pump , it does not operate in accordance with the requirement of fairness. It directly hits the bearing with a hammer, causing the bearing cage to be deformed or loaded obliquely to break the bearing. The bearing was not installed properly, the installation was misaligned or it could not be mounted to the bearing, causing the bearing clearance to be too small.

2. The inner and outer rings of the bearing are not in the same rotation center, resulting in different hearts; or the bearing is installed in reverse and the thrust bearing is installed in the wrong direction. Bearings and bearings in contact with the parts are not clean and assembly
